Part 2: Who are we?
Since we’ll be getting to know each other pretty personally, I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself.
My name is Benji.
I’ve been involved with magic for over 10 years now. I started my site, The Daily Magician, in 2018 and I’ve since written hundreds of articles, blog posts and emails all about magic.
I also recently spent the best part of 2 years working side by side with Aaron Fisher, Adam Grace, and some of the best magicians in the world at Conjuror Community.
During that time, my entire outlook on magic shifted.
It all happened rather suddenly.
As you know, I was up against a wall in my own magic journey.
And frankly, being friends with someone like Aaron Fisher didn’t help—he’s just so good that it makes you feel intimidated.
“How is a magician like ME gonna get THERE?”
(By his own admission, he practiced for hours a day for years on end to get to the level he’s at now.)
Then something happened that changed everything.
I flew out to the States to visit my lifelong friend and partner in all things magic: Jacob. While I was there, I had a chance to ‘jam’ magic with Aaron.
The stuff he did absolutely fooled the crap out of me. And I mean FOOLED.
I had ZERO idea of how he was doing it. I felt like I was seeing ‘real’ magic.
(little did I know he was using ‘the system’ to fool me)
I assumed that he’d been using his legendary sleight of hand skill, and while some of the effects certainly had been down to that, the ‘gems’ were actually based something else entirely…
…the very same system YOU’RE going to discover!
Which was why, when Aaron introduced me to what would become the core of my Skyscraper Methodology—I was instantly hooked.
When Aaron told me about the ‘system’, it made me realize that there was a whole new world of magic out there that I had never even known about!
And best of all…it wasn’t going to take me decades of practice. In fact, I could start as soon as I was able to learn the system!
I immediately started reading everything and anything I could get my hands on about the system, and quickly started putting the puzzle pieces together.
Then I decided to share the result with Jacob, so he could use it too. We filmed the entire thing!
The result, as you know, turned out to be the Skyscraper Method, which we’ll be exploring together.
