Confession time: 

When I was 16, my ‘dream job’ was a little strange… 

(I feel as if I’m among friends here, so I’m happy to share.)

Most 16 year old’s dream of being a sports star, making movies, or maybe just to being a big-time YouTuber.

Not me.

I had a different goal in mind… 

I wanted to be a keynote speaker.

I could think of nothing better than inspiring big corporations with a combination of magic and business principles. 

I dreamed of speaking and inspiring executives all over the world…from Apple to Facebook.

Which is why when it came time to grab John Guastaferro for an exclusive interview… 

…my inner 16 year old broke loose. 

I couldn’t help but ask him about his own experience as a keynote speaker. 

I asked him for his top tips on public speaking. 

His answer?

Firstly, it’s all about the eyes of those that are watching you.

Then, we went on to discuss:

  • The exact ‘mantra’ he repeats before every performance 
  • The 4 part structure we use to write emails…and how it can be used in a live speech

His answer was genuinely inspiring, and as we were recording I was already looking forward to sharing it with you guys.
