Steven Bridges Brainstorms (BONUS)

Steven Bridges is a professional street performer, YouTuber, and founder of Magic Mastery.

He’s met some of the best magicians in the world and spent years developing his own methods and routines.

In other words, he ‘knows’ magic.

Well, we’ve recently been working closely with Steven—and we decided to ‘gift’ him the full course.

After he finished studying, much like ourselves, he was brimming with new mem-deck ideas.

So we decided to jump on a call and brainstorm with him…

What came next was beyond anything we could have expected.

We discussed…

* The mouth-watering prospects of starting an effect in one stack and ending in another.

* Our top tips for fully harnessing the power of the ‘Babylon Secret’ to create some of the best effects in magic

* How to combine our unique memory methods with a Chan Canasta psychological force

* The power of the relatively unexplored ‘quarter stack’, and how Steven would incorporate it into his usual repertoire.

Over the conversation, we actually managed to create two original effects

The first one looks like this:

The spectator chooses any card.

Both you and the spectator have a different deck—which you show them by spreading cards on the table.

The spectator deals cards face up to the table, while you deal face down.

When they see their card, they stop.

You also stop.

You turn over the facedown card you stopped on.

It’s the SAME card as theirs.

You demonstrate that the rest of the cards are different.

Then, just as they think the effect is over, you do a magical gesture.

You say:

“I cheated. See, we were actually using the exact same deck the entire time!”

Take the two piles of cards and spread them on the table to show that they’ve magically transformed—both the decks are now IDENTICAL.

That’s the first effect—and we explain exactly how it works in the audio training.

We then devised a second effect—perhaps even more ambitious than the first.

This effect requires a Dani DaOrtiz technique found on his product ‘Utopia’—but if you don’t have that, don’t worry about it. We share an alternate ending in the training.

Here’s what the second effect looks like…

Your audience shuffles the deck.

You deal through the deck to show that all the cards are different.

You allow each spectator to select a bunch of cards.

The spectators then choose to keep and eliminate cards in a completely chaotic process.

Despite all that, you are able to name the exact card every single spectator has chosen!

By the end of the conversation, it felt like we had plumbed a whole new depth of memorized deck magic.

In addition, we’d devised TWO original effects—complete and ready to perform by ambitious listeners.

(the other huge benefit is that you’ll see our creative process in action—bouncing ideas off of each other and gradually making progress)

This training lasts for approximately 1 hour.
