The 2 emotions you NEVER want your audience to feel
In this Inner Circle training, I talk about the two emotions you NEVER want your audience to feel.
I also discuss:
- Two things you never want to do when performing magic (even if you successfully avoid one of these, the other one can scupper you—you need BOTH)
- How to navigate the dangerous line between mystery and confusion in your performances (using the Out Of This World routine as an example
- The magician I believe is the ‘Marlo of Magic Theory’
- Exactly how long your routine should be (the answer is both very vague and VERY precise) minute 5:26

Hi Benji:
In this audio training you asked for recommendations on additional books on magic theory. If you have not read it, then I would recommend “Shattering Illusions” by Jamy Ian Swiss. Well written text on magic theory particularly as it relates to performance. It gives great advice and food-for-thought for any performing magician and any magic creator. Unfortunately, it might be OOP by now; however, if you cannot get it on the main book market, I know some of the used book magic stores are selling it. Take care.
